REUBEN'S PAINTED MANDOLIN. When this pops up, you'll know that the evening's performance will be devoted to the JERRY GARCIA BAND'S repertoire. Of course, the Grateful Dead's repertoire is what we mostly do, but Jerry's 'side project' deserves more recognition than just a few songs here & there. JGB was like going to church for some. It was a whole different vibe than a Dead show. Soul, Motown, R&B were more prominent in the setlists. Less space and more focus on harmonies and soloing. It's a fun change of pace!
